The right chemistry for a drone will depend entirely on the end users requirements. If you’re manufacturing a photography drone we would typically recommend Lithium Polymer battery pack (LiPo). A LiPo battery pack will have a discharge rate with high energy density and also being light making the drone agile while meeting the short-medium flight times required. An agricultural drone will have opposite requirements due to long flight time demands, the heavy payload it will carry, and the reliability the user needs. In this case, a Lithium-Ion battery pack will meet the requirements of the end user better than other chemistries.

At our dedicated battery manufacturing facility, we have 12 development laboratories for new battery projects up to 800V and >100kWh. Our ISO9001 certification will be expanded to include ISO45001 and IATF16949. For portable pack sizes, we are able to produce approximately 100,000 certified battery packs per week of virtually any configuration using resistance welding, micro-tig welding or laser-welding depending on project demands.
