When new operators join the team, they go through our comprehensive training program, regardless of their prior experience. Operators work through our training program to ensure they learn the skills needed to match the work standards of our existing operators’ to maintain a high quality output. A two-week training course with our in-house qualified trainer ensures new operators are trained to manufacture battery packs safely, precisely and consistently This training covers a range of skills, from basic tasks like soldering and welding to more complex operations, ensuring all operators have the necessary expertise to meet production requirements. Operators have their skills evaluated on key performance metrics such as efficiency, defect rates, and knowledge retention. Only once they have demonstrated the skills to match existing production standards will they be permitted to work on live projects, ensuring we maintain our production targets.
During times of lower demand, our operator count is around 30; however, when demand ramps up, we increase the number of operators we have to meet demand, the highest number of operators we have had is 350. Throughout the training course, operators are trained on multiple sections of the production line to provide us with a fully flexible workforce should we need to meet a sudden surge in demand. Operators aren’t rushed in to meet increased levels of demand; they’ll still go through the training program and must meet the same quality standards to ensure we can keep our products manufactured to a high quality.
