LET OUR ENERGY POWER YOUR SUCCESS

Introduction to the industry

The equipment for the Military, Fire, & Police industry has to be compact, light, reliable and high performance. Compact and light for ease of storage and transportation in the vehicles used in these industries. Reliable and high performance as this equipment is often used in the field in time-sensitive critical situations and failure is not an option. Robust equipment capable of withstanding severe shock and impact or high temperatures may be needed as well. These requirements often mean a highly customised battery pack needs to be developed uniquely for the device that is shock-proof, resistant to water and dust ingress, and with a charge capacity long enough to sustain long periods of continual use.

Proud to design and manufacture for some of the world’s most prominent Military, Fire, & Police OEMs. Our design, manufacturing, and control processes are highly sympathetic to our customer’s needs in this industry as we understand that reliability and consistency of the product are of the utmost importance.

We enhance our approach to each project by bringing each new product through our knowledgeable design path and implement strong stage-gate controls until new product is released to full manufacturing.

The types of equipment used in this industry

Immobilization Devices

How we can help

Our development process aims to understand the specifics of your application and the goals of your new product. Pain points for the product and the circumstances it must perform in as well as benefits for your operation (design lifetime, supply chain, quality etc) are all possible to support when considering the battery design and components to use. We will consider your specific requirements for the battery (lifetime, electrical performance characteristics, mechanical demands and so on) and then design around that.

We often work on maximising battery lifetime to extend the useability of the device in the field. We will then test the battery to guarantee that it can survive whatever the product will reasonably endure during its lifetime, ensuring longevity and reliability.

Some projects require that we deliver state-of-the-art battery management and communications with the host device for the very latest in Military, Fire, & Police technology.

We also prioritise our component selection with regard to availability as well as quality. This is done with 100% full transparency to ensure that the final design can be in production with no component end of life or bill of material changes for many years to reduce or eliminate redesign efforts within a product life cycle.
