Why choose lithium-ion battery packs
Lithium-ion battery packs are the most common and versatile type of battery pack you can find. From electric car batteries down to mobile phone batteries.
Because of their composition, they are a lightweight option, ideal for any handheld device or vehicle. They have a very high energy density, about 1.5 times the density of a NiMH (nickel metal hydride) alternative, and can retain their charge for long periods of time, even while in use. Lithium-Ion battery packs have a durable chemistry as well, handling repeated charging and discharging better than their alternatives. With NiMH batteries, they have to be completely discharged before they can be recharged, this is not an issue with lithium Ion.
