10/02/2025 With apprentices forming a vital part of our workforce, National Apprentice Week is always a highlight for the business. This week, coordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), is the perfect opportunity to showcase our apprenticeship program and display the essential contributions apprentices at ABT make daily in many departments.
HR Coordinator Ellie Barret will spearhead the week’s activities. She will deliver a special assembly at a local academy to showcase the incredible opportunities apprenticeships offer. Having passed an apprenticeship program with ABT herself, Ellie can speak of the many positives an apprenticeship can offer someone when they leave school.
As a gold member of the 5% club, we are recognised for our significant contribution to the continued development of all our employees through schemes such as Apprenticeships. This award captures our apprentices who are spread across different business sections in Marketing, Accounts, Human Resources, Production Engineering, Supply chain and Quality, who have all embraced their roles within the organisation and are showing outstanding qualities.
