Senior Business Development Manager Ian Sharp recently attended Cenex 2024, the UK’s premier event for the innovation and e-mobility community. With over 4,500 visitors and 206 exhibitors the expo, held at Millbrook Automotive Proving Grounds, brought together industry leaders and showcased cutting-edge developments in net-zero and connected automated mobility.
With Alexander Battery Technologies becoming increasingly involved in e-mobility battery pack projects, the expo was an exciting opportunity for Ian to explore groundbreaking developments in the UK’s innovative electric vehicle sector. Ian also attended some of the seminars hosted at the expo including; Empowering Urban Mobility: Innovations in Micromobility, The Future of Zero Emission Technology, and Powering Ahead: The Future of the UK Battery Industry. These sessions featured insights from major players like Mercedes HPP, Wright Bus, and Prodrive.
During the event, Ian networked with key organisations such as the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), Niche Vehicle Network (NVN), and UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC). He also connected with companies like WATT EV, Flit Bicycles, and White Motorcycle Concepts, discussing opportunities in the UK’s expanding e-mobility landscape.
