Q1: Who are you?
My name is Diana Sanchez. I’m a Project Engineer at ABT, and I’ve been with the company for about a year and a half.
Q2: Can you tell us a bit about your career before joining ABT’s battery project team?
Before joining ABT, I spent around three and a half years at an oil and gas company, working across supply chain, manufacturing and projects. That experience gave me a solid background in operations. I enjoy working in fast-paced environments, which is a great fit at ABT because the work here is so dynamic.
Q3: What made you want to join ABT?
I was attracted to ABT because of its culture. For me, working in an environment where people support each other is essential, and that’s exactly what the company is about. Another benefit is the opportunity to learn about new technologies, which I really enjoy.
Q4: What do you enjoy most about your job as a battery project engineer?
What I enjoy most about my job is that I’m constantly learning. I get to build knowledge in electronics, testing and manufacturing, and all of these areas complement each other. I really value being able to learn from so many different applications.
Q5: What’s a fun fact about you that might surprise people?
Fun fact: I’m really interested in languages. I’m fluent in Spanish, English and French, can get by in Italian, and I’m currently learning a little German!
